Shooting at Giancarlo de Carlo’s Collegio del Colle, Urbino

Shooting the third segment for the three channel video project Symphony of the Unknown - part II (for an upcoming exhibition, opening in May 2021). Urbino’s Collegio del Colle - a space conceived to shape society, a student college thought and designed as a city by Giancarlo de Carlo. I invited the architect and curator Mirko Zardini to write the script for the voice over and the essay for the accompanying publication (launch in May 2021).

The project received a grant by DGArtes / MC (Portuguese Ministry of Culture) and is realized in collaboration with the Escola das Artes - Universidade Católica Portuguesa (Porto, Portugal). The exhibition will be presented in the gallery SEEA, at the Escola das Artes (May-June 2021). The accompanying publication will be launched on the occasion of the exhibition opening.

Nuno Cera's work operates at the intersection of art and documentary and addresses three fundamental forms of change: natural, spatial and temporal. His long-term research projects involve different agents and collaborators, including scientists, actors, writers and critics. His work has been exhibited and published internationally in various cultural institutions.
